Managing multiple premises isn’t a part-time job. When things go wrong, you need to know that there are reliable electricians that you can rely on.

At Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions, we are a committed team of electricians. Making sure you have the best electrical solution possible. This is just one of many stories of excellence that we have committed to over the last 30 years.

The Problem

Last Wednesday we received an emergency call from one of the largest letting agents in Edinburgh, from whom we are a preferred supplier. The RCD on the consumer unit was tripping, causing most of the power and lighting in the property to stop working.

Our efficient administrator, Camila, quickly got in touch with the tenant and arranged for our skilled electrician, Jamie, to investigate the problem on the same morning it was reported.

The Solution

Jamie quickly discovered the issue was between two sockets in the living room, which he promptly isolated, restoring power to the rest of the house. After providing a quote to the letting agency for the necessary remedial work, and once approved, we scheduled an appointment with the tenant for the next day to rewire the damaged cable.

Upon arriving the next day, our electrician, Jack, discovered that the cable between the sockets had been pierced not once, but twice by a nail during flooring installation. However, Jack quickly resolved the issue and rewired the sockets.

The Result

Once the work was complete, Jack diligently ensured the premises were left clean and tidy. Within 48 hours, the tenant and landlord’s problems were solved with the swift professionalism we constantly provide to all our customers.

Electrical issues will always happen. That’s why we are here and will always respond to an enquiry within 24 hours. That is our guarantee.
